Day 231 of Safer-at-Home here in Panama City Beach, Florida. Today’s statistic from Florida’s Community Coronavirus Dashboard for Bay County are 7,086 cases and 141 deaths, and for Florida are 892,523 cases and 17,043 deaths. Bay County District Schools have not updated their virus information today.

Yesterday I had a Zoom call with my daughters and granddaughter. My granddaughter lives in a bubble at Vassar, as they are not allowed to leave campus. During winter break, she is going to stay with her roommates’ family in New Jersey for a few day, and they will visit New York City. She is looking forward to getting out of the bubble. And her mother, my daughter in the Denver, worries about her getting the virus when out of the bubble.

Today I devoted my time to working on my personal inventory loss for my flood insurance. My goal is to finish it by the end of the week. It is very time consuming, especially in regards to my furniture. Most of my furniture was either vintage or antique so finding its value is a chore.

On Thursday, we went from tropical to winter in one day. Since then the weather has been up and down, and today has been cold all day because of the chilling wind. But nothing like what is happening up north. It seems like we went from summer to winter with no fall in between. I am sure the temperate weather will return.
