Day 177 of Safer-at-Home here in Panama City Beach, Florida. Today’s statistics for COVID-19 from Florida’s Community Coronavirus Dashboard for Bay County are 5,641 cases and 92 deaths, and for Florida are 702,771 cases and 14,375 deaths. There have been two more reported deaths locally since I last posted.
It was another quiet holiday weekend at my house. I did some research for my upcoming Education Encore class. But other that that I really didn’t accomplish much. And decided that was what I needed to do, just relax.
Today was another story. We have been having some cooler mornings. So I weed wacked the East side of my house, that is until I ran out of string. I am coming close to wanting to hire someone to do my yard on a regular basis.
Then I called my service advisor at the car dealership to confirm that my new tires were in and they were. So I jumped in the shower and got ready and headed out to the dealership. Luckily there was a bench in the shade outside where I could hang out while I waited at the dealership, so I didn’t have to sit inside with a bunch of strangers.
Next stop was Sam’s Club and then Publix. I stocked up on toilet paper and paper towels, which I was low on. So I am feeling rich. Plus I hope I bought enough groceries to last me two weeks. Of course I have my Butcher Box order due to arrive this week, and a Misfit Market order next week. so I should be fine.
Theresa and Craig headed out to Silverton, Colorado to camp this morning. They turned us on to camping at South Mineral Campground a few years ago. It has to be one of the most beautiful spots in the US. If I didn’t have so much to do, I was tempted to go and meet them there. Definitely next year. Nancy and I decided to take a break from meeting on Thursday while Theresa is out of town.
Stay Safe, Stay Healthy and Wear a Mask.
