Day 143 of Safer-at-Home here in Panama City Beach, Florida. Today’s statistics for COVID-19 from Florida’s Community Coronavirus Dashboard for Bay County are 4,112 cases and 50 deaths, and for Florida are 533,011 cases and 7,871 deaths. Locally there are 80 hospitalizations.

While on my Zoom meeting yesterday I missed a call and did not see the voice mail until after dinner. My credit union had called to tell me that they had to cancel my deposit because the teller had accidentally given me the check back. I remember getting it and saying, “You gave me the check back.” But as I am so accustomed to mobile deposit, where I keep the check, I stuck it in my purse and drove off. So this morning I made another trek to the bank to redeposit the check. I did feel for the teller and how she must have felt when she tried to balance her drawer and she was off by so much.

I am thankful I do not have any school age children right down and have to wrestle with whether to send them to school. If at all possible I think I would try to find a way not to. The local school district has a mask policy, but…

Hopefully, I think I have adjusted to the new normal mentally. I have decided that I need to go about my life with a mask on when near other people and avid crowds. That is how it is going to be for awhile.

I worked on my collage today in that I glued the images to my substrate. We are using white tempera paint to veil images. I am not happy with the tempera I bought, so tomorrow I hope to go to Michaels and get a different brand. If I’m not happy with that I will have to order from an art supply store.
Stay Safe, Stay Healthy and Wear a Mask.
