Day 124 of Safer-at-Home here in Panama City Beach, Florida. Today’s statistics for COVID-19 from Florida’s Community Coronavirus Dashboard for Bay County are 1,619 cases and 11 deaths, and for Florida are 328,652 cases and 4,782 deaths.
This morning I finished preparing the back bedroom for the workmen. I haven’t heard from them so probably will not be until next week before they start. The mortgage company threw me a curve ball today and want an estimate from a general contractor for the repairs, as the insurance company did not specify where the money was to be spent on my final settlement.
I did have a fun day in that I got together with Nancy and Theresa, as we usually do on Thursdays. And we practice social distancing. They are both really into watercolors right now. So to join them I dug out my watercolors. I mainly wanted to create some colorful circles that I could doodle on, ala Ceationsceecee.
I also stopped by Publix to pick up my prescriptions and it turns out it had expired. The pharmacist faxed the office and I called and left a message. Hopefully it will get filled, as I only have three blood pressure pills left. While I was there I picked up a melon and some potatoes. I wore my N95 mask as the last time I went there most customers were not wearing masks. It was better today.
I am listening to the last of David Baldacci’s Will Robie series The End Game. I am at the final exciting scene so will listen to it while I make dinner. Then I am going to have to find a new audio book.
Stay Safe, Stay Healthy and Wear a Mask
