Day 123 of Safer-at-Home here in Panama City Beach, Florida. Today’s statistics for COVID-19 from Florida’s Community Coronavirus Dashboard for Bay County are 1,540 cases and 11 deaths, and for Florida are 312,687 cases and 4,626 deaths. Wal-Mart and Sam’s Club nationwide are going to require all customers to wear masks starting next week. My wish is that all public places require face masks. School starts here on August 11. Masks will be required when social distance is not possible. I hope it goes well.

Today I woke up way too early and could not get back to sleep. So I got out of bed about 4 am and started my day. This morning I got a lot done. But after lunch my energy level was very low. So I read.

I took a break from reading and made another batch of cucumber and tomato salad. I used a whole carton of cherry tomatoes in the salad, and I added celery, radishes, onion and scallions to it to add some crunch and variety. I received two cartons of cherry tomatoes in my Misfit Produce box last week. So I need to find a use for the second carton of tomatoes before they go bad.

Today I received my box from Butcher Box. I always get excited when it arrives. I need to plan my meals over the next month based on what is in the box.

While the morning started out hot and sunny, the clouds soon moved in and there were thundershowers most of the afternoon. It seems like it has rained everyday for the last month. The weeds are happy and seem to grow exponentially every day. I have my work cut out for me.
Stay Safe, Stay Healthy and Wear a Mask.
