Day 105 of Safer-at-Home here in Panama City Beach, Florida. Today’s Department of Health’s statistics for Bay County are 287 cases and 4 deaths, and for Florida are 122,960 cases and 3,366 deaths. The statistics from Florida’s Community Coronavirus Dashboard for Bay County are 302 cases and 6 deaths, and for Florida are 131,888 cases and 3,464 deaths. In Bay County there were 39 new cases and in Florida there were 8,938 new cases reported today. Today’s reported cases were the most for one day. The new death in Bay County must be a visitor to the state as it is not showing up in the Department of Health’s statistics, as they do not report visitor’s deaths.
The Saharan Dust has hit Bay County. Yesterday on my walk I had a hard time breathing and I had used my inhaler before the walk. The dust has left the skies grey looking. Vivid sunsets are suppose to accompany it, but it didn’t happen last night. I will check it out tonight.
Yesterday morning I got my workshop all set up for Freebie Friday. And even this morning I did a practice Zoom meeting. I had set up my phone to show my work space and I had set up my tablet for me to see what I was demonstrating. All went well at the beginning. Then something happened and the phone stopped its video. The participants heard me but could not see what I was doing. And I could not hear them as they were trying to communicate to me. So frustrating is all I can say. I sent them pictures and the instructions. This is my last one for a while as I will be teaching live in July. But I will have to rethink how I will do this in the future.
Yesterday afternoon I got together with Nancy and Theresa. We wore masks and social distanced ourselves. We mainly talked though I did add a few more embellishments to my felted seascape.
