Day 64 of sheltering-in-Place here in Panama City Beach, Florida.Today’s statistics for COVID-19 for Bay County are 80 confirmed cases and 3 deaths, and for Florida are 44,138 cases and 1917 deaths. They are doing a lot more testing in our county and have removed many of the restrictions.

This morning I prepped for my first free webinar by making a list and printing it out of tools used in Metalsmithing. I then straightened the studio and laid out some of the tools. I felt pretty prepared.

For lunch I made roasted sweet potatoes, a salad with fresh cucumber, carrot, onion, lettuce and tomato, and heated up 4 chicken wings that I got at Publix yesterday. I finished watching episode 4 about Pickling on Somewhere South with Vivian Howard.

After lunch I put on some make up and then it was time for the Mixed Media Maniacs(MMM) Zoom meeting. It was fun to talk and see everyone, but I sure would like to be doing it in person. After our meeting, I began the free webinar. These ladies are my guinea pigs so I appreciated their feedback that I needed to have a camera on my head, as there were a lot of shots of my feet. So I ordered a tripod that will accommodate my iPad and iPhone. I am hoping it will be here by next Friday when I do the second installment.

The audio book I am listening to is Don’t Go by Lisa Scottoline. It is a pretty emotional story with a mystery in it. There are two chapters left in the book and everything is coming to a head. To me it was hard to get into, but I am glad I stayed with it.

GCSC contacted me about my class beginning June 1 and said I could teach if I was comfortable doing so. I ran it by the MMM group and then decided to postpone it to July. I really want to see how the next few weeks evolve before I begin teaching.
