Day 38 of Sheltering in Place here in Panama City Beach, FL. This morning’s statistics for COV-19 are 55 confirmed cases and 2 deaths, and there were 25,996 cases and 764 deaths for Florida. This was the biggest spike in cases for Bay County since I have been doing this. I think it might be because more people are getting testing, as there is a new drive-thru testing center in Lynn Haven, but this is pure speculation on my part. Public schools in Florida will continue with on line learning for the rest of this term.

Today has been somewhat of a down day for me mentally. I don’t know if is is due to the depressing weather we are having, but today everything I do seems like a chore. Or maybe I am just getting burned out in the re-arranging of two rooms and the move of the studio into the shed. Maybe I just need to stop what I am doing and be creative and have some fun.

A minor disaster happened while I was in the shed. In the soon to be sewing room, I must of overloaded a shelf with books, and the brackets gave way and the books all fell to the ground and knocked the TV to the ground. I picked up the TV, I hope it is ok and still have to deal with the books.

Then it was time to Zoom with my daughters and granddaughters. The 40 minutes goes by so quickly. But seeing them, talking to them, and laughing with them cheered me up.
