Day 26 of Sheltering in Place her in Panama City Beach. This morning’s statistics is 24 confirmed cases and one death in Bay County and 14, 504 cases and 283 deaths in Florida. Bay County has not had any new confirmed cases as reported by Florida Department of Health, Disease Control and Health Protections. And there are no test that are being waited on. Yet on local social media support groups, many people are saying that their doctor think they have the virus but they are not eligible for testing. So who knows what the real number is. In addition, two days ago the NY Times ran a story that because of the lack of tests deaths due to the virus are being under reported.
I woke up at 3 am with sinus issues and a small headache which I have had all day. So I didn’t get as much done as I wanted but plugged away anyway. This morning I watched two YouTubes on how to use a jigsaw. The first one was more of an overview, but the second one was just what I needed. I glad I watched instead of just digging in as I needed to order some blades. She recommended some dual action blades by Starrett. So we shall see. I put another coat of chalk paint on the piece of furniture that will hold my kiln and that I have to make shelves for. Tomorrow the part of the floor that I recently put polyurethane on will be ready so the moving into the shed will begin.
